We bring to your attention that the museum that is dedicated to Sister Lúcia will reopen on February 1st with a new presentation on the focus of the Centenary of the Apparitions of Fátima.
The Memorial of Sister Lúcia is located next to the Carmel of Coimbra, where she lived for 57 years. The Memorial contains her gifts and also displays the unique items of her personal use, as well as the journey of her life.
The year 2017 will have a greater emphasis on three items that were used at the time of the Apparitions:
The first Rosary that was offered to Lúcia, the Rope that she used around her waist together with her cousins Jacinta and Francisco and the Scarf that Lúcia wore on her head during the Apparitions of Our Lady.
This Centenary Year will also have a temporary exhibition which will be shown to the public for the first time, objects of special importance belonging to the Servant of God, Sister Lúcia of Jesus. The first object that will be exposed will be the original manuscript for the book containing the fifth and sixth memory of Sister Lúcia.
We invite everyone to visit this site.
